Yes, it doesn’t look like the ocean in the pictures but every piece of trash that isn’t picked up ends up washing into a ditch, and then into a creek, and then a river….like the Gasconade River! The Gasconade River flows into the Missouri River and takes all the trash to the Mississippi River and it ends up in the Gulf of Mexico and then the Atlantic Ocean! Several Times a year. Gasconade County Democrats go out and clean up highway roadsides east of Owensville.

We even go into the trees to get trash!

Gasconade Dems believe in making our environment better!
Working together and alone, we are keeping trash out of our creeks, rivers, an oceans!

We wish we could be on a tropical island and go out for Ocean Clean Up Day and do a little surfing and work on our tans! Too far for that but we can still do our part to keep rivers an oceans clean by working on Highway 28, which makes our roadside environment much nicer for us and our neighbors!
We do this several times a year.
Come and join us! We need you!
